About Us

Welcome to the IECC!

The Inland Empire Coin Club is “the” active coin club in the greater Spokane, Washington region. We, the Inland Empire Coin Club, are organized in a spirit of friendliness and good fellowship to share the pleasures of coin collecting. The IECC also contributes to the objectives and purposes of the Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association - "to promote, extend, and protect the interests of numismatists and numismatic activities throughout the Pacific Northwest and to foster and encourage the study of numismatics in all its forms."

The Inland Empire Coin Club was founded in 1953 in Spokane,  Washington. We held our first meetings in the Spokane County courthouse in Spokane.   We now hold meetings every month on the first Monday of the month.  We also have a picnic in July in a city park and a banquet in  January.  The banquet is an installation banquet for the newly elected officers. The elections are held every December and the officers serve for a calendar year beginning in January.  At the picnic, we play bingo games and give away over $200 in coin prizes.

COIN SHOWS
We also hold two Coin Shows each year.  They are currently held at the Sons of Norway Lodge in North Spokane.  They are usually held in the spring
and fall.  If you are a dealer, we welcome you to participate by purchasing a table.  Our members do all the preperations for the shows. We usually sell about 40 tables and have about 20 dealers from Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and some even farther away.

Admission to the show is $2.00 for both days.  We sell tickets for a drawing for a gold coin and 5 U.S. silver eagle coins.  These tickets can be purchased from any member for $1.00 each.  They can be purchased in advance or at the show. Admission to the show also gives you a chance to win an hourly door prize with your admission ticket.  These are drawn every hour for both days that the show is operating.  You need not be present to win for either of the drawings.
